Geocellular modular plastic units have been used for stormwater management throughout Europe since the 1980s. They are used to form underground structures which manage stormwater; either allowing it to infiltrate back into the surrounding ground or by attenuating it and then releasing a controlled rate into the existing drainage network. They help manage flood risk as part of good SuDS design.
At Wavin, we have a history of innovations that have raised the bar in the design and production of stormwater management systems and solutions. Our AquaCell units, for example, answered the growing demand to handle peak rainfall and masterfully control rainwater discharge.
Q-Bic Plus is our next-generation system. It offers significantly enhanced design freedom, easy and speedy installation and seamless access for inspection, cleaning and maintenance.
